We had a slow start to our summer this year - in my books, it didn't start until August 1! On August 1, we cleaned off our deck, cleaned all the kids' outdoor toys, set up the swimming pool and got ready to enjoy the sun. Then we realized that our pool didn't hold any air! It's not much fun swimming in a flat pool. So Daniel and I headed to Walmart to see what we could buy. Well, just because our summer didn't start until August didn't mean that, officially, summer was half over and everything was on sale! We got the coolest pool for only $35! It was a pain to set up, my wussy hands got a bunch of blisters from using the hand air pump, but we got it set up and the kids love it.
