Sarah's 4 months old!

It's hard to believe but our little Sarah is 4 months old! Where has the time gone? She's such a cutie these days, smiling and laughing at her big brothers, cooing and talking with us. She's pretty easy-going most of the time but she does have a bit of a temper on her, especially when she's really tired or cold. She has the most expressive wide eyes that light up whenever she sees her favourite people.

She's a strong little thing even though she's still tiny. She loves to stand and will try to push herself upright if she's sitting in your lap. It'll be interesting to see if she decides to sit and walk early or not. As of right now, she certainly talks more than the boys did at this age. (Watch out when she's a teenager!) We'll have to see if she's as active as them.

Sarah's working hard at gaining weight these days. Her fortified formula, breastmilk and canola oil diet has been working. She gained 5.5 ounces in the past two weeks - she now weighs 8lbs 12.5oz. She needs to go back to the pediatrician on Tuesday for a follow-up. She's still gaining half of what she should but it's a huge improvement from before!

We've had a tradition of taking the kids' pictures every month on their quilt made by Grandma. Here's a comparison between the kids, all at four months. What a difference!

What a chubby guy Daniel was, with all his hair! Adam was skinnier and had no hair at all! And skinny mini Sarah with her little poof of hair on top. Each one different, but cute and loveable in their own way. How did we get so lucky with such adorable kids? :)
