Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a pretty busy day for our family! As usual, we were up bright and early, and headed downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny brought. The kids did quite well. The boys got some crafts (make your own pirate ship for Daniel and train for Adam) and some chocolate, of course. Sarah got a little book and some baby food, lucky girl! And all four of the Olympic mascots were waiting for them as well.

After a couple of treats, we headed over to Duncan and Lindsay's for Easter Brunch. The kids had a little Easter egg hunt and then we sat down for a yummy brunch of French toast, sausages and Schwartzy's hashbrowns. (I've yet to learn why they're named that but I don't really care - all I know is that they're really yummy!) And no trip to Uncle Duncan's would be complete without playing some Nintendo - the original one!
It was a quick visit, though, because we needed to drive out to White Rock to have Easter dinner with Leah's family. We saw very little of the boys because they were having a great time up in cousin Janice's attic with all the cool toys. Sarah was a hit visiting with all the aunts and uncles. We had a delicious potluck with way too much food and ended the evening with some visiting and a game of Guesstures.

That's a great photo showing what a happy family we are! It was so much fun going to the aquarium with our "grands" and seeing their curiousity and awe at the incredible sights.
