Celebrating love by going bowling!

In honour of Valentine's Day and Duncan and Lindsay's engagement, we met up with James' siblings and their significant others for a family game of bowling and dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  There's nothing more romantic than going bowling with a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 16 month old!  :)

Uncle Duncan was trying to help Sarah pick the perfect bowling ball.

The boys are ready to bowl!  Unfortunately, there was a big sign saying that children under 5 couldn't bowl, but we managed to sneak Adam in there.

Sarah was determined to pick up that bowling ball.

Superdad bowling with Sarah.  He says it wasn't too hard because the weight was evened out.

Good form, Daniel!

Uncle Dave gave Adam a few pointers.

I attempted to bowl with Sarah - it wasn't that easy!

Auntie Lindsay having some fun with Sarah.

James tried to bowl between the boys' legs.  I think he found it a lot more difficult than he thought!  There's not much room there!

Mommy and Sarah.

Sarah didn't think much of the bowling part.  But she loved running up and down the bowling alley.

Goofy Adam!

Not quite sure what the boys were doing here...

Interesting form, Adam.  :)

After we had our fill of bowling, we went next door to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.  While waiting for our table we, of course, had to weigh ourselves on the scale that every Old Spaghetti Factory has.  (Or, as Adam said, "You should see how heavy you are on the clock!")

The happy couple, Duncan and Lindsay.

Goofy Sarah.

Adam was colouring while waiting for his food.  He didn't like what it looked like so he threw it on the floor, saying, "This is not awesome!"  But he had an awesome look on his face.  (Me, too!)

Daniel agreed to take a nice picture with me.

And here's what the kids looked like by the time we got home.  It was a busy day for them - swimming in the morning, lunch at Gramma and Grampa's, then bowling and dinner out!
