Our first Christmas event of the season. Every year, the last Friday in November, our neighbourhood firehall hosts a Christmas party.
There was free pizza from Boston Pizza and Timbits and hot chocolate from Tim Horton's.
And the Christmas lights were turned on at the firehall for the first time. Some places have a decorated tree in the town square or something like that - we have the firehall!
And, of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without a visit from Santa! He was all set up in front of the fire truck, making a great photo opp. But a call came in and all the firefighters needed to leave and took the truck with them! But the celebrations continued without them. :)
It was a fun beginning to what will surely be a fun holiday season!
