Father's Day

Father's Day was a little different around here this year. Since I had just gotten home from Boston and my family is away in San Francisco, we celebrated Father's Day last weekend. So the real Father's Day was just spent with Daddy and his boys. We decided to go to Maplewood Farm. The boys loved it! Daniel loved all the animals, especially the turkeys. Who knows why! Adam loved looking at all the animals but wasn't so sure about getting close to them. They were much better farther away.

What a nice Father's Day you all had! It looks like dear Adam was a little outside his comfort zone whereas Daniel seemed to be in his element! Turkeys can be cool or they can scare you to bits, guess Maplewood's were well-behaved. When he was about 4 years old, Jamie fell (waded) in the Maplewood Farm duck pond, it had a lot of duck "debris" in it and the result wasn't exactly pretty or odorless... Glad you all escaped THAT adventure THIS time!
