Busy weekend

It was a pretty nice Saturday, so most of it was spent outside. James decided to tackle our front yard, which is pretty much dead, and dug out all the grass. Daniel loved "helping"! I think James would have liked if he could help more, because it was back-breaking work.

Sunday morning was Queensweep. It's a neighbourhood-wide outdoor cleanup. Daniel enjoyed picking up all the plippy and Adam was content sitting in the wagon.

All volunteers got a hot dog lunch at the community centre and we met up with a few neighbours there. The Tim Horton's doughnut van was there as well. They should hire Daniel to sell their hot chocolate. He would never try hot chocolate because it has the word hot in it. But we finally got it into him one day and now he can't get enough!

In the evening, we had our family dinner with Lauren, Duncan and Lindsay. It was our turn to host but, because I had an orchestra concert that afternoon, we decided to take everyone out for dinner. We went to Boston Pizza and the boys had fun hanging out with their aunties and uncle.

Haha - I love the picture of Daniel with the hot chocolate! He looks drunk with contentment. :)
