The beach!

Even though Gramma and Grampa are off on their exciting travels to Eyebrow, Saskatchewan, the boys and I decided to make a visit to their trailer in White Rock today. As soon as we got there, Daniel started knocking on the door and windows, saying, "Gramma! Grampa! Where are you? We're here!" He was a little disappointed that they weren't there to play with him. But he quickly got over it when he found all the cars and trucks that are tucked away, just for when he and Adam visit.

We played in the yard for a while and then decided to head down to the beach. It was a perfect beach day - not too hot, not too windy. The boys spent over an hour running around, playing in the tidepools and searching for crabs and shells. We didn't find any crabs but we found lots and lots of shells.

We discovered an abandoned boat and the boys played in that for a while. Then, three women came up and asked if I would take pictures of them in the boat! They then offered to take pictures of the three of us. While we were posing, they all took pictures on their own cameras, too! So this picture will be seen by a bunch of people who have no idea who we are!
We certainly had a good time and I know the boys are counting the days until Gramma and Grampa get back and we can head down to the trailer with them.
